Processing Times

Once orders are finalised and full payment is received, processing times are determined by product type:

Pre-made Items will be packaged and shipped within 1-2 Business Days (Monday–Friday).

Custom-Made Items may vary due to product type and availability of materials. As all custom items are handmade, creation times will be outlined in the product description. Once complete, packaging and shipping will be completed within 1-2 Business Days.

Made to Order Items may vary due to product type and availability of materials. Estimated timeframes will be outlined in the product description. Once complete, packaging and shipping will be completed within 1-2 Business Days.

Orders received before 2:00pm AEST (Monday–Friday) will be packaged and shipped the same day. Orders received after 2:00pm AEST (Monday–Friday) will be packaged and shipped the next business day.


Stickers

Our stickers are handmade and made to order. Please allow up to 3 business days for production.

To keep shipping costs low, stickers are sent via Small Envelope (untracked) unless combined with other items requiring a parcel.

If purchasing stickers with other items that require a parcel, your stickers will be included in the same package.

At checkout, you will automatically be charged both Parcel and Envelope shipping rates. If your stickers are sent via parcel with other items, your Envelope shipping charge will be refunded within 1-2 business days. Refund processing times are determined by your financial institution.


Pricing & Carrier

All shipping is calculated at checkout based on package weight and dimensions. A total price including shipping and handling will be displayed for you to confirm before finalising your order.

Handling fees are included in the shipping price and cover the cost of packaging materials.

All orders are shipped via Australia Post.

  • Domestic shipping within Australia is calculated by package size and weight. Maximum weight: 22kg.
  • International shipping is calculated by package size and weight. Maximum weight: 20kg.

Taxes, Duties & International Fees

Australia All prices include 10% GST. No additional taxes or duties will be charged upon delivery within Australia.

USA All orders shipped to the USA are sent using Australia Post international services. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on package weight.

As of August 2025, all imports into the USA are subject to applicable duties and tariffs regardless of order value. An estimate of duties and import taxes will be calculated and collected at checkout so there are no surprise charges upon delivery. Actual duties assessed at the US border may vary. If you are charged additional duties upon delivery after paying at checkout, please contact us with photographic evidence and we will refund the duplicate amount.

UK & EU VAT and applicable import taxes are calculated and collected at checkout. Your order will arrive with no additional charges due upon delivery.

All Other International Countries Orders are shipped via Australia Post international services. Where possible, an estimate of applicable duties, VAT, and import taxes will be calculated and collected at checkout so there are no surprise charges upon delivery.

In some countries, customs authorities may still charge additional fees upon delivery. If you are charged duties or taxes after already paying them at checkout, please contact us with photographic evidence and we will refund the duplicate charge.

We recommend checking your local customs website for further information on import regulations in your country.


Tracking

All packages sent within Australia and internationally include tracking, excluding items sent via Envelope.

Once your order has been processed, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.


Delivery

Items are shipped from Brisbane, QLD, Australia. Delivery times are estimates only. Once Australia Post has taken possession of your order, KateKrochet is no longer responsible for delivery timeframes. Please refer to your tracking information for updates.

Delivery times may vary depending on your location, and any delays or disruptions affecting Australia Post services.

Please note that items may be held longer than usual by Australian or overseas customs authorities.


Unclaimed Packages

Shipped items that remain unclaimed will be treated as abandoned. You will not be entitled to a refund or replacement.


Lost or Missing Packages

All packages (excluding Envelopes) include tracking. Most late parcels arrive within 5 business days of their expected delivery date. If your delivery is taking longer than expected, please  submit an enquiry directly with Australia Post.

All items are carefully packaged and leave our store in sellable condition.

Items lost or damaged during shipping are not the responsibility of KateKrochet and are ineligible for refund or exchange. Please refer to our Refund Policy for further information.


Coverage

Most Australia Post delivery services include up to $100 AUD compensation for loss or damage caused by their delivery system.
